Dr. Gonzalo Blasi has been a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology since

2017. He graduated from dental school at the International University of Catalonia (UIC). He obtained a certificate degree in periodontology and implant dentistry and a Master’s of

Science in oral biology at the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Dentistry (UMB). He then enrolled as a Postgraduate Fellow in the Implant Periodontal Prosthodontics Program at the UMB. In 2016 he was honored with the Richard Lazzara Fellowship Award from the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. He is currently a visiting professor in the department of periodontics at the UMB and an associate professor at the UIC.
